Important Changes to Exams

If a student does not pass the theoretical part of the exam (commonly referred to as “the test”) on their first attempt, they cannot participate in the practical part (driving test). See Act No. 247/2000 Coll.

At the next date, the student will attend only the theoretical exam. Only after passing it will they be given another date for the practical exam.

Required Documents for Foreigners for the Exam
and Issuance of a Driving Licence

  • Proof of usual residence in the Czech Republic (residence visa, biometric card, Schengen entry visa)
  • Exam fee = 700 CZK
  • Completed driving school course

Attention:

For the issuance of a driving licence, every applicant is required to prove, at the Municipal Authority or City Hall, their usual residence in the Czech Republic according to Act No. 361/2000 Coll. This means a confirmed uninterrupted stay of at least 6 months and a connection to the Czech Republic (e.g. family ties, employment, business activity, etc. – see Act No. 361/2000 Coll., Section 2, letter hh).

Without proof of usual residence, the applicant may be refused a driving licence even if they have successfully passed the final exam. In such a case, the driving school does not refund the course fee.

200 CZK for Bringing a New Student

For many years, our driving school has rewarded students (and now also non-students) through our referral system.

Anyone who brings a new student to our driving school will receive a 200 CZK reward once the new student is registered.

This offer is now open to everyone, not only our students – a simple way to improve your financial situation!
